BRIEF BIOGRAPHY

Rev Dr Ogechi Joy Anwukah (affectionately known as Pastor Joy) is the General Overseer of HOLY GHOST DELIVERANCE INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES (aka SOLUTION CHAPEL) headquartered in Antioch, California, United States of America. One church in many locations.

Pastor Joy is a woman who loves the Lord and is truly anointed by the Holy Spirit. She is called of God and functions in the giftings of the prophetic and the ministry of healing and deliverance. Pastor Joy is also a legal scholar, with a PhD in International Law with emphasis on NATIONAL SECURITY AND HUMAN RIGHTS. She propounded a counter-terrorism theory, "The Theory of preservative Legitimacy," and formulated a comprehensive definition of National Security chronicled in her work titled "Legal Conceptions of National Security Relevant to Counter-Terrorism and Human Rights Law and Policy."

 

She is a writer and a leader. She holds a place as a certified member of the John Maxwell Leadership team, the leading authority in Leadership globally. Her training with John Maxwell led to her certification as a professional coach, trainer, and dynamic speaker.

 

She is certified in protocol and diplomacy and has been appointed a United Nations Peace Ambassador, earning her the title “HER EXCELLENCY.”

 

In addition to her vast academic achievements, Pastor Joy is married to Elder Kenneth Chike Anwukah, who also studied law. She has over 20 years of marriage under her belt, and God has blessed them with amazing children. She is a mentor to many, both old and young. She has and continues to function in various mentorship positions for individuals across the globe. Her strong passion for women and youth empowerment has led to her being invited to speak in a wide array of seminars aimed at encouraging women and young people to not only further their education and maximize their potential, but also to strengthen their relationship with God. She is passionate about the oppressed, the abused, widows, the helpless, the hopeless, children, the youth, and so much more. She is a worshiper and a prayer warrior.

 

HER MINISTRY JOURNEY

Since the age of 12, Pastor Joy knew there was a calling on her life. She was one who took on the leadership role as a young lady – especially in the Church and in school. At every level of leadership, she received awards of excellence for her service to others, both in the ministry and in the secular world. But Pastor Joy's faith journey was not without challenges and spiritual attacks. As she says it,

"God trained me through much pain and affliction. I was in the valley for 15years. I call it 'THE SILENT PEROID', where everything about my life was at a standstill; fruitless and terrifying to the point where all I wanted was to die and rest forever.  But God had another plan for my life. He said NOT-SO! I was reinvigorated by the Holy Ghost and fueled with fire. The Lord said to me, "You will not die; you will come out by my Mighty hand, to declare my Name with power and unshakeable faith. Thus, with perseverance, every demonic manipulation, satanic exchange to kill my destiny, every witchcraft and occultic manipulations against my life were negated and nullified by the MOST HIGH GOD WHO HAS THE FINAL SAY."

It was a paradigm shift in her life as Pastor Joy submitted herself to be trained in CHURCH OF GOD MISSION INTERNATIONAL of the late ARCHBISHOP BENSON IDAHOSA. Her experience under this mighty ministry increased Pastor Joy's faith in God to believe "ALL Things Are Possible" with Him.

 

Several years ago, Pastor Joy began a prayer line that ran every Friday at 7 pm Pacific Standard Time (PST). People called in from all over – including Europe, America, and Africa. She also started a prayer and worship service from her home for those who wanted to be a part of the experience. The services grew rapidly. One morning during one of her trips to the United Kingdom, God gave Pastor Joy the name of the ministry- HOLY GHOST DELIVERANCE INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES (aka SOLUTION CHAPEL). According to her, she asked God, “What is the mandate?” And He said, “the mandate is in the name” – ‘HOLY GHOST DELIVERANCE.’ Since then, many souls have been won for Christ; those with complex illnesses healed, bad medical reports reversed, the captives set free, the confused have received clarity, the unusual hand of God has been experienced, shrines destroyed, and the prophetic manifested through this ministry.

In response to the apostolic call on her life, she has taken the Gospel to the nations through powerful Global Crusades, impacting lives in cities such as Alabama, Chicago, New York, Houston, Massachusetts, Virginia, Atlanta (USA), Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt (Nigeria), and many more across the globe.

 

Today, as an international preacher, by the special grace of God, Pastor Joy is anointed with power to flow in the ministry of prayer, worship, deliverance, healing, and the prophetic. God graces the ministry with signs, wonders, and miracles. With great humility, she attests that none of these miracles has anything to do with her; it has everything to do with the power of God. To this end, Pastor Joy releases herself as a vessel of God to be filled and used by him to help His people and fulfill His mandate.
